Seasonal themes focus on finding a special gift, a Christmas miracle, Christmas family traditions, the Christmas legend that animals talk at midnight on Christmas Eve and a special story of a cat that is helped by the animals at Green Apple Acres when she delivers her kittens in their barn because she can not make it to her own barn for their birth. While the animals and humans are celebrating the season of Christmas, they continue to learn life lessons through their experiences.

Each story is Christmas- season related and, as with Book One and Book Two, morals and themes, challenges and lessons are woven into the story lines. At the end of the book are photos of some of the real-life animals and people featured in these stories…a popular part of the books in this series.
